Author Mary Thompson aka Ima SooneR

I'm a former University of Oklahoma softball player, Pitcher, I became a member of the Sooner family in 1985. I played two college softball seasons and it was a life changing experience for me. I've been a huge fan ever since. I come back often to the Alumni events. I watch most of the softball and football games on tv or in person.
I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. I have a daughter Paige and two grandkids.
My big news is the release of my book - The Life and Legacy of Patty Gasso The University of Oklahoma Softball Coach. I felt her story needed to be told since she is and has been a huge influence on the success of softball at Oklahoma and nationwide.
